When they arrived Adamawa from Abuja, a man saw visitor and thought, “Surely the Lord’s anointed stands here—he will be president.” But the Lord said to the man, “Do not decieve yourself about our intimacy, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a person according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve.”
